Other congress topics include: the risks coming from new forms of sexism, men and gender-based violence, men and sexuality (prostitution, trafficking, rape, pornography, etc.), male chauvinistic reactions to the advances of feminism, masculinities and sexual diversity, youth facing the crisis of masculine identity, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;color: #000000\">We seek to train and raise awareness in the male population on gender equality. Then, men can learn other possible ways to express masculinities (multiple and diverse) in ways that are not sexist, androcentric, or patriarchal, prompting their own deconstruction, looking at themselves in the mirror with a gender perspective (of unequal power relations between men and women) and committing themselves to feministic causes. In turn, the knowledge of the cultural construction of masculinity will enable women to better understand the logic of patriarchy and masculine socialization in a chauvinistic society that still persists. Such knowledge will provide women with tools to dismantle the hegemonic ideological representations of gender, sexist behaviors, and the micro-chauvinism that perpetuates inequalities between women and men.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;color: #000000\">Nobody ever said achieving gender equality would be quick and easy, and there is little doubt that without men this goal will be impossible. To go beyond legal and regulatory gender equality and actually attain real and effective equality in all social spheres and in everyday life, we must continue working with and for women, while at the same time men must join this feminist social revolution\/transformation. This event will feature some of the most-renowned Spanish and international experts on studies [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3158,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":3,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_et_pb_use_builder":"on","_et_pb_old_content":"[:es]<b>JUSTIFICACION<\/b>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El congreso que presentamos en esta segunda edici\u00f3n titulado <\/span><b><i>II CONGRESO INTERNACIONAL SOBRE MASCULINIDADES E IGUALDAD: EDUCACI\u00d3N PARA LA IGUALDAD Y CO(EDUCACI\u00d3N)<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (CIMASCIGUAL II), se centra en un tema esencial para conseguir la igualdad real y efectiva entre mujeres y hombres.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Contar\u00e1 con la presencia de algunas de las personas expertas en estudios de g\u00e9nero, feminismo, masculinidades y coeducaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s relevantes del panorama nacional e internacional: profesorado, investigadores\/as, profesionales de la educaci\u00f3n, que est\u00e1n abordando esta cuesti\u00f3n (de manera te\u00f3rica, emp\u00edrica y pr\u00e1ctica) en la actualidad.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nos interesa debatir y profundizar desde la perspectiva de g\u00e9nero y con enfoque interseccional sobre el papel que juega la educaci\u00f3n en la socializaci\u00f3n de los varones en relaci\u00f3n a aspectos tales como: la socializaci\u00f3n diferencial, el mantenimiento o la eliminaci\u00f3n de las desigualdades de g\u00e9nero, el trabajo por los buenos tratos, el impulso de hombres pro-feministas, las \u201cnuevas\u201d masculinidades igualitarias, la implicaci\u00f3n de padres y madres en educaci\u00f3n de hijos en valores igualitarios, el fomento de nuevas paternidades corresponsables, igualitarias y cuidadoras, el c\u00f3mo el machismo perjudica a los hombres, c\u00f3mo transmitir y ense\u00f1ar a ser un hombre no machista, as\u00ed como, los riesgos ante nuevas formas machismos, los hombres y la violencia de g\u00e9nero, los hombres y la sexualidad (prostituci\u00f3n, trata, violaciones, pornograf\u00eda, etc.), las reacciones neomachistas al avance del feminismo, las masculinidades y la diversidad sexual, los j\u00f3venes ante la crisis de la identidad masculina, etc<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Perseguimos formar y concienciar a la poblaci\u00f3n masculina sobre la igualdad de g\u00e9nero para que conozcan otras formas posibles de ejercer su(s) masculinidad(es) (m\u00faltiples y diversas) de manera no machista, no androc\u00e9ntrica, no patriarcal, incit\u00e1ndoles a deconstruirse a s\u00ed mismos, a mirarse al espejo desde una perspectiva de g\u00e9nero (de relaciones de poder desigualitarias entre hombres y mujeres) y a comprometerse con las causas feministas. A su vez, el conocimiento de la construcci\u00f3n cultural de la masculinidad, permitir\u00e1 a las mujeres entender mejor las l\u00f3gicas del patriarcado y la socializaci\u00f3n masculina en una sociedad machista que persiste, para darles herramientas con las que desarticular las representaciones ideol\u00f3gicas hegem\u00f3nicas de g\u00e9nero, las conductas sexistas y los micromachismos que perpet\u00faan la desigualdad entre mujeres y hombres.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nadie dijo que la igualdad de g\u00e9nero sea algo que se consiga r\u00e1pida y f\u00e1cilmente, pero no nos cabe la menor duda de que sin los hombres, esa meta ser\u00e1 imposible de alcanzar. Para que adem\u00e1s de la igualdad de g\u00e9nero legal-normativa se consiga la verdadera igualdad real y efectiva en todas las esferas sociales y en la cotidianidad, hemos de seguir trabajando con y para las mujeres y, al mismo tiempo, han de sumarse los hombres a esta revoluci\u00f3n\/transformaci\u00f3n social feminista, y para lo cual, la EDUCACI\u00d3N EN IGUALDAD Y LA COEDUCACI\u00d3N enfocada en ni\u00f1os, adolescentes, j\u00f3venes y adultos (hombres) es primordial para acelerar los cambios y reducir las brechas cuanto antes.<\/span>\r\n\r\n\u00a0[:ca]Aquest <strong><em>I Congr\u00e9s Internacional sobre Masculinitats i Igualtat\u00a0- CIMASCIGUAL,<\/em><\/strong>pret\u00e9n introduir un tema propi dels estudis de g\u00e8nere per\u00f2 poc abordat en el context espanyol, tant en les universitats com per part de les institucions p\u00fabliques. En l\u2019\u00e0mbit estatunidenc, el nord d\u2019Europa, Austr\u00e0lia o a Llatinoam\u00e8rica, \u00e9s una q\u00fcesti\u00f3 que cada vegada est\u00e0 cobrant major import\u00e0ncia en el m\u00f3n acad\u00e8mic i tamb\u00e9 en l\u2019activista.\r\n\r\n<em>\u00a0\u201cEl concepte anal\u00edtic de G\u00e8nere, introdu\u00eft a principis dels huitanta, va pretendre superar aquell enunciat essencialista i universalista segons el qual en \u00faltima inst\u00e0ncia la \u201cbiologia \u00e9s destinaci\u00f3\u201d. [...] La teoria de G\u00e8nere posa l\u2019accent, a m\u00e9s, en el fet que les identitats de g\u00e8nere es constitueixen rec\u00edprocament i que, per tant, per a comprendre l\u2019experi\u00e8ncia de ser dona en un context hist\u00f2ric concret \u00e9s imprescindible tindre en compte els atributs de ser home\u201d <\/em>(Stolcke, 1996:341).\r\n\r\nEls camins cap a la igualtat real reclamen actualment i necess\u00e0riament la implicaci\u00f3 dels homes, de la superaci\u00f3 d\u2019un model de masculinitat tradicional obsoleta i la transici\u00f3 cap a altres formes possibles i m\u00e9s igualit\u00e0ries de ser homes en la nostra societat. Alguns dels \u00faltims esdeveniments viscuts tant en l\u2019\u00e0mbit estatal com mundial, han posat de manifest la necessitat urgent de la incorporaci\u00f3 dels homes a la lluita per la igualtat. En el cas espanyol estem assistint a la visibilitzaci\u00f3 cada vegada major d\u2019un moviment feminista potent i amb gran capacitat organitzativa i de mobilitzaci\u00f3, com aix\u00ed ho han demostrat fen\u00f2mens com el 7N: Marxa estatal contra les viol\u00e8ncies masclistes a Madrid el 2016, o el 8 de mar\u00e7 de 2018 i la vaga plantejada en aquests termes que va obligar els homes a posicionar-se des d\u2019una reflexi\u00f3 pr\u00e8via del que les dones estaven tractant de significar.\r\n\r\nA m\u00e9s, tota aquesta mobilitzaci\u00f3 i pressi\u00f3 social a trav\u00e9s del moviment feminista, i de tota mena d\u2019organitzacions i fins i tot de partits pol\u00edtics, ha afavorit la inclusi\u00f3 en l\u2019agenda pol\u00edtica de demandes que directament o indirectament apel\u00b7len a la reflexi\u00f3 sobre la masculinitat: el perm\u00eds de paternitat (igual i intransferible) per apel\u00b7laci\u00f3 a la coresponsabilitat en les cures, o la q\u00fcesti\u00f3 de l\u2019anomenada \u201cManada\u201d de la violaci\u00f3 m\u00faltiple de Pamplona al juliol de 2016, que ha suposat una cr\u00edtica manifesta que interpel\u00b7la directament al privilegi mascul\u00ed sobre els cossos de les dones a trav\u00e9s de la denominada \u201ccultura de la violaci\u00f3\u201d.\r\n\r\n\u00c9s precisament en aquest moment de q\u00fcestionament manifest de la masculinitat quan es fa m\u00e9s necessari i urgent, sens dubte, apel\u00b7lar a institucions que, pel seu \u00e0mbit de treball i la seua capacitat d\u2019influ\u00e8ncia en la societat, poden i han de tindre un paper clau en la transformaci\u00f3 del model d\u2019identitat masculina cap a altres formes possibles de ser home m\u00e9s concordes amb els temps actuals, temps de lluita feminista, destacant tamb\u00e9 el perfil de l\u2019alumnat, que usualment s\u00f3n xics joves, en qu\u00e8 cal posar especialment el focus d\u2019atenci\u00f3.\r\n\r\nLa universitat, des de la seua posici\u00f3 social determinada com a instituci\u00f3 de reconegut prestigi i respecte per part de la ciutadania, ha de ser impulsora activa de l\u2019estudi i el canvi entre els homes, fomentant la investigaci\u00f3 i el coneixement de les masculinitats des d\u2019una perspectiva cient\u00edfica interdisciplin\u00e0ria, aix\u00ed com facilitar els espais de debat i visibilitzaci\u00f3 de la cr\u00edtica del model hegem\u00f2nic i tradicional, i de les formes alternatives i dissidents amb la norma dominant de la masculinitat que comencen a emergir des de fa pocs anys.
