  • Analyze the importance of educating children, adolescents, youth and male adults on gender equality and feminist values to prevent violent behavior (against girls and women, other children and men, and against themselves), risk behaviors that are produced and perpetuated by sexist-chauvinist socialization, and the hegemonic male gender norms that still exist today.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Question the various agents of socialization, such as the media, to introduce gender awareness and a feminist viewpoint, then focus on incorporating men into the fight for equality and present egalitarian male role models.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Make public coeducational proposals and tools to implement them into the work with children, boys, and male adults in favor of achieving effective equality.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Link and promote research on masculinities that produces socially and educationally applicable outcomes in order to achieve egalitarian masculinities as a strategy for social transformation.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Learn the most current approaches, projects, theoretical studies, empirical work and publications in the academic, professional and educational fields that address masculinities and coeducation.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Offer intersectional proposals for coeducational work that facilitate the deconstruction of patriarchal, violent and competitive masculinity, that which possesses the most harmful and toxic characteristics of the identity of men still dominant from the traditional model, which courts movement towards other pro-feminist and respectful models with social diversities.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Provide faculty members, as well as people in charge of equality issues at educational centers and the very leaders of educational centers, with the strategies, proposals and good practices of experiences to incorporate the issue of egalitarian masculinities into center programming, teaching, tutorial action plans and school boards.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Involve and train the stakeholders of educational communities at their various levels on the need for and importance of coeducational work focused on children, adolescents and young males to achieve gender equality.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Provide materials, tools, and coeducational processes focused on masculinities, with a gender perspective for classrooms, families, the media and society in general, which enable the education of men in a manner that is non-chauvinistic, non-patriarchal, non-androcentric and egalitarian.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Encourage the creation of interuniversity, intercenter, and interinstitutional networks of coeducational studies on pro-egalitarian masculinities on national and international levels.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    OBJETIVOS:<\/b><\/p>

    • Analizar la importancia de educar en igualdad de g\u00e9nero y valores feministas a los ni\u00f1os, adolescentes, j\u00f3venes y adultos varones para prevenir comportamientos violentos (contra ni\u00f1as y mujeres, contra otros ni\u00f1os y hombres, y contra s\u00ed mismos), conductas de riesgo que se producen y perpet\u00faan por la socializaci\u00f3n sexista-machista y los mandatos de g\u00e9nero masculino hegem\u00f3nicos que existen a\u00fan hoy en d\u00eda.<\/span><\/li>
    • Interpelar a los diversos agentes socializadores tales como los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n, a introducir la perspectiva de g\u00e9nero y la mirada feminista y enfocarse en incorporar a los hombres a la lucha por la igualdad y a presentar referentes de masculinidades proigualitarias.<\/span><\/li>
    • Dar a conocer propuestas y herramientas coeducativas para implementar el trabajo con ni\u00f1os, chicos y adultos varones en pro de la consecuci\u00f3n de la igualdad efectiva.<\/span><\/li>
    • Conectar e impulsar la investigaci\u00f3n en masculinidades que produzca resultados aplicables socioeducativamente con el fin de alcanzar conseguir unas masculinidades igualitarias como estrategia de transformaci\u00f3n social.<\/span><\/li>
    • Conocer los enfoques, proyectos, estudios te\u00f3ricos, trabajos emp\u00edricos y publicaciones m\u00e1s actuales en el \u00e1mbito acad\u00e9mico y profesional educativo que aborden la cuesti\u00f3n masculina y la coeducaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/li>
    • Ofrecer propuestas interseccionales de trabajo coeducativo que faciliten la deconstrucci\u00f3n de la masculinidad patriarcal, violenta, competitiva, con esas caracter\u00edsticas m\u00e1s nocivas y t\u00f3xicas de la identidad de los hombres a\u00fan dominante del modelo tradicional que invite a transitar hacia otros modelos profeministas y respetuosos con las diversidades sociales.<\/span><\/li>
    • Facilitar al profesorado, a las personas responsables en los centros educativos de los temas de igualdad y los equipos directivos de centros educativos, estrategias, propuestas y buenas pr\u00e1cticas de experiencias para incorporar transversalmente la cuesti\u00f3n de las masculinidades igualitarias en la programaci\u00f3n de centro, la docencia, el Plan de acci\u00f3n tutorial y el consejo escolar.<\/span><\/li>
    • Involucrar y formar a los agentes de la comunidad educativa en sus diversos niveles, sobre la necesidad e importancia del trabajo coeducativo enfocado en los ni\u00f1os, adolescentes y j\u00f3venes varones en la consecuci\u00f3n de la igualdad entre g\u00e9neros.<\/span><\/li>
    • Aportar materiales, herramientas y procesos coeducativos centrados en la cuesti\u00f3n masculina, con perspectiva de g\u00e9nero para las aulas, las familias, los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n y la sociedad en general, que permitan educar a los varones de manera no machista, no patriarcal, no androc\u00e9ntrica, e igualitaria.<\/span><\/li>
    • Favorecer la creaci\u00f3n de redes interuniversitarias, intercentros, e interinstitucionales de estudios de coeducaci\u00f3n en masculinidades proigualitarias a nivel estatal e internacional.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>
